I have found comfort and love within photography well before ever picking up a camera. Sitting on the floor, going through old photographs gives me an indescribable feeling – It is heavy and light all at once, and it truly captivates me. When I picked up a camera at fourteen, I started using photography as a safe space to pour my feelings into. There were no rules or expectations, only feelings. The photos were raw and imperfect, and were never meant for anyone else. They became a quiet sanctuary; A way for me to move through love, pain, and all of the uncertainty of becoming.
Over time, a practice that was personal became something I wanted to share with others. I started taking on small sessions, photographing people of all ages, with different lifestyles, around the world. Photography has become an act of meeting others where they are, listening to what they hold closely, and preserving memories that might have otherwise slipped softly into a distant memory.
My curiosity and empathy are what drives my passion. I want to create images that you can feel, and that allow you to return back a moment that holds meaning and emotion.
